Implementing Evidence-Based Prevention by Communities to Promote Cognitive, Affective, and Behavioral Health in Children: Proceedings of a WorkshopThe Health and Medicine Division of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine held a workshop in June 2016 to examine the implementation of evidence-based prevention by communities. Community needs and characteristics dictate the kinds of programs and policies that are implemented and help determine whether they succeed or fail. The topics of scaling up, managing, and sustaining science in communities were discussed. The proceedings summarizing the workshop presentations and discussion were published in March 2017.
