National Health and Nutrition Examination Surveys: NHANES
The National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) is a program of studies designed to assess the health and nutritional status of adults and children in the United States. The survey is unique in that it combines interviews and physical examinations. Download the Data
The figures in the visualization can be downloaded directly from the Tableau interface as either as an image or a PDF file. To download images:
- First, select the icon on the bottom right corner of the visualization and select either “Image” or PDF”.
- Next, select the “Download” option on the pop-up box. A file will download that can be saved for your use.

When original analyses are used to generate the data visualizations, data tables are provided with point estimates and additional supplemental data as appropriate (e.g. confidence intervals, sample sizes, etc.) in excel format.
